The Torrance Police Officers' Association expresses it's deepest condolences to the family of Officer Kenyon Youngstrom. Officer Youngstrom was a 7 year veteran of the California Highway Patrol assigned to the Contra Costa area. He was a married father of four children. On September 4th, Officer Youngstrom was shot in the head during a traffic stop by a motorist, Christopher Boon Lacy. Officer Youngstrom's patrol partner was able to shoot and kill Lacy.
